Our research focuses on data and its central role for competition in digital markets. In particular, we analyse how access to data should be structured with a view to technical, economic and regulatory aspects.
The research group offers lectures, seminars and theses on central questions of data economics. The teaching program is research-oriented and interdisciplinary.
Due to the current situation the members of the Research Group Data Policies can only be contacted by e-mail until further notice. Consultation hours take place - as usual after registration - via video conference.
The research group Data Policies is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts in the framework of the Centre Digitisation.Bavaria (ZD.B). In the project “Data Neutrality & Open Access: Coherent Economic Policies for the Digital Economy” the research group headed by Dr. Daniel Schnurr aims at investigating the crucial role of access to data in digital markets.
